Why i-Tree?

whyThe i-Tree suite of software tools was developed to help users—regardless of community size or technical capacity—identify and manage the structure, function, and value of urban tree populations. i-Tree allows you to promote effective urban forest management and sound arboricultural practices by providing information for advocacy & planning, baseline data for making informed decisions, and standardization for comparisons with other communities. Better understanding of benefits and services provided by community trees, increases investment in stewardship, operations, and maintenance.

Explore the fact sheets below describing how specific users groups and community types can use, or have used, the i-Tree suite of software tools to benefit their tree program.
